It’s no secret that Kendrick Lamar is one of the best to ever do it. From Platinum records to deep thought lyrics & visuals. The Compton MC shares light on the new direction he plans to take with his follow-up to 2015’s “To Pimp a Butterfly”. Speaking with The New York Times he says: “To Pimp a Butterfly was addressing the problem. I’m in a space now where I’m not addressing the problem anymore. We’re in a time where we exclude one major component out of this whole thing called life: God. Nobody speaks on it because it’s almost in conflict with what’s going on in the world.”
Kendrick’s last project “Untitled Unmastered” was released a year ago & was a surprise when it hit the stream. Considering that no word on release date or titled, could this next project be a surprise in the making?
